Howdy,
Happy new month. Had a busy day yesterday I only realised that we were already in August in the afternoon when I went online and saw people wishing each other a happy one. So, I am passing on my wishes to you too avid readers.
Anywho, hoping your month has started off well. We can only wish it keeps getting better and better as the days go by.

So no one is coming,
How often do you think about that? Thought about the fact that no one is coming to your rescue?
I never really gave it much thought. Actually, twice I have encountered this phrase. First time it was from a title of an episode from a series I was watching. And it was true, given the nature of that story, the character realised that they were on their own and had to figure out stuff for themselves if they needed to survive. Second time, actually was yesterday, I saw a clip from one of those motivation speakers et al who went on and on to explain what I will write down below, that no one is coming to move us from the spaces we are in unless we make the conscious decision to do it for ourselves. That got me into thinking that, at times we could be waiting for help that’s not anywhere near. How many times do we find ourselves waiting. Waiting for “people” who are not coming. People here in quotes because it symbolises anything. People could mean opportunities, things or even just actual people.
No is coming to wake you up from your sleep to tell you it’s time to get your hustle going on,
No one is coming to tell you that you need to get your shit together, make a life for yourself,
No one is coming to tell you, you need to get your stuff going, that you need to get your life in order,
No is coming to tell you to embrace your realities and work on them or around them,
No one is coming to tell you that you need to turn things around for yourself, for your own good,
No one is coming to market your business for you,
No one is coming to change how you work to ensure you are getting better at your skill or art,
No one is coming to grease your wheels so that your movements are made easier,
No one is coming to tell you that you need to be bold, that you need to stand up for yourself,
No one is coming to tell you that you now need to move on with life, stop slurking, stop whining,
No one is coming to tell you that you need to live a healthy lifestyle,
No one is coming to tell you to exit that toxic relationship for your own good,
No one is coming to tell you to make peace with yourself or those you need to make peace with,
No one is coming to tell you that you need a better job, better pay or deserve better working conditions,
No one is coming to tell you to hand in that CV to apply for that opportunity you have been dying for,
No one is coming to tell you , you need to now start thinking seriously about that business idea you have been eyeing and dreaming about,
No one is coming to tell you that it’s time for you to learn a new skill,
No one is coming to tell you your time in that organisation is up and you need to find your footing elsewhere,
No one is coming to tell you that it’s time for you to now pursue growth in whatever stages of life you are in,
No one is coming to tell you that you need a break and give your body some rest,,,
So many things that you should be doing but instead, you are sitting pretty waiting. You are letting days go by waiting and waiting for help that is not on its way.
As we begin this month, just know today that no one is coming. You have to figure it out on your own if you truly need to make those leaps. Be comfortable knowing that you own your own mission to success.
Be bold enough to set deadlines for yourself, set your own timelines, reach out to people who can help you move from where you are to where you ought to be,
Because,
NO ONE IS COMING.
