Unapologetically you..

There was a time I could have struggled with being my true self. Because my greatest fear was being judged over my expressions. Not for doing anything out of line, but just the fear of being judged.. Being the creative person that I am, my expressions come in different forms, right from my creative expressive writing to my witty cooking skills. And most of the time when you put your work out there in the presence of people’s eyes, you certainly have no idea of how your work would be perceived.

This kind of fear, normally holds people back. Because other than yourself who may not honestly self criticise, you certainly need a third eye. A third eye that would help you look at things differently from your own perception and from this you will be able to learn a thing or two on how you can improve if not upskill. And trust me constructive feedback come criticism does people alot of good.

Being Unapologetically you, means putting your fears aside, not feeling ashamed of your expressions. Being able to express yourself freely and willfully without unnecessarily worrying about how your expressions may be perceived. This is a new attribute that I am practicing to learn for myself and my expressive works. It’s who I am and therefore it would be an injustice to fail to reach out to people, for fear of being judged over creatively expressing myself. Infact, people learn alot about who you are through your expressions, your thoughts and they are also able to monitor your growth too on how far along you and your works have come. If it’s a talent that you possess whichever its nature, people will not know that you own it if you don’t express it.. And this is just pride. Being proud of what you do, what you own, or what you possess.

Be Unapologetic about showcasing your skills, be Unapologetic about expressing your talent, be Unapologetic about telling people what you do. Be Unapologetic about passing good messages to people, be Unapologetic about showing people the way, be Unapologetic about showing kindness to people. Life has been made simple for us to enjoy and be happy but we make it complicated by trying to apologize even for being expressive about the good deeds we do…
