It’s not exactly the end of the year, but an appreciation post on the 15th of December wouldn’t hurt a soul.
I would like to thank you my readers who have been following this journey right from where it began to where it is at this minute. Both yourselves and myself I bet have all grown. I have written, you have been doing the reading. The stories got written, the motivational posts went out in full speed, and one way or the other each one of us was served happily.
So much happened this year, I may take pages to do a recount. But in just a short summary, I can say, I am extremely grateful. And delighted. And happy for the milestones we achieved as sensesnhumor. We could have done best in some areas, but in overall sense, everything we set out to do in January, we achieved.
The top highlight of it was in the writing of the minibooks. Where we began the first quarter of the year by writing the Mentorship journey. I often go back to it whenever I am feeling lost or just need a direction. I think I even wrote it for myself than I wrote it for you.
The second quarter, we came through with the eleven powers. I had total fun writing these because these powers resonate with everything within me. Values that I have grown upholding. And at the same time, values that I intend to instill on my children. I specifically dedicated that minibook to them. To remind them that life has its own unique teachings, which are never taught in school. So giving them the eleven powers was to just jump start them into the right direction.
The third quarter, we came strongly with this amazing love story of this young couple that was trying to figure out their life. Boomerang. I think this was my best write yet. We have lots of relationships going through ups and downs, facing ordinary turmoils of life. That is what the book was about. I learnt how to formulate characters and just create a story out of ordinary life situations. There are those who have requested for part two of Boomerang, maybe I will be guided into writing it in the near future (hold me accountable).
For the fourth quarter we finished strongly with Little rascals. I enjoyed every bit of it. Especially writing about a different culture, a different religion and creating an interesting story out of it was something I never thought I would. Hoping you had a chance to read it too.
To all those we interacted with on this platform, those who follow, those who subscribe, those who share, those who read silently, sensesnhumor appreciates you. We still have a lot to do on our podcast, that I will work on, hopefully it picks too.
So much more lies ahead, I wouldn’t wish to pre empt, for now I can only pray that may God continue to guide this writing journey, may He bless it beyond my imagination May it open doors that I never dreamt of entering..Amen…
