Who is on your team…

For you to concur the throne, and take the lead in any win, you need to know who is on your team. You can’t get the win you desire or deserve if your team is not in sync with the goal. It’s important to know who is on your side, who is supporting you, who is propelling you to your throne and even how they will do it.

I was once removed from a team, Un knowingly, unexpectedly, maybe because I was not fit to be a part of that team. Perhaps I did not befit the title of the expected team player I was supposed to be in that team, or my contribution did not match the expectations of the team, or I was being a rival within the team. It took me a while to understand why that was so. People don’t remove you from their teams by merely picking out on you, they do so because maybe they feel you will not get them to the goal probably as faster as they would like. At times even players are set to be put on the bench while other key players are put on the field, not because they are bad players, but because there are those key players who will get the team the goals they need if they play and most of the time, this could even be during the injury hour. And that is when I realised, for any goal to be achieved at times its important to have the key players steer the wheel and the ones on the bench, cheer them on, and eventually it would be a win for the entire team.

Our day to day interactions in life is also a game, it has its players, people we meet everyday, people we work with every day, all play a part in forming a team that eventually gets us to the win. Sharing again, a friend, or rather one whom I considered a friend, removed themselves from my team, maybe they thought they did not fit to play the game, as that was the reason given, I felt very bad, but then I realized that, they didn’t fit to be in my team because then it would have been a competition, and in a team we are all working towards the same win and hence I thought it was only fair I let them be. When we are trying to win, it’s important to have the entire team fighting for the best for all and not competing against each other.

What I am simply trying to say is, it’s important to have a team, people who you can get along, people who you can go out of your way for, people who understand why you need that win, and sadly not everyone should be a part of that team. If you are offered a way out of any team, take it, at times it’s not to make you sit on the bench but rather an opportunity to allow you to start your own team, your own game, your own rules and eventually work towards your own win.

Who is on your team is important, whether in an office, in a business, in a relationship, in a household, it’s important to know who is on your side, because once you know that, you will know who has which strengths , who has which weaknesses, and eventually who needs to have what in order to have an overall win for all of you. We could want to win in so many ways, we could be wanting to win with our jobs, our school work, our marriages, our businesses, our families, our friends, it’s extremely important to have the right people in your team to help all of you achieve your win.

So who is on your team….
