It’s been a minute

I haven’t set foot here in a couple of months. Reason is I have been writing elsewhere instead of fully concentrating on my blog. I have managed to capture a few avid readers on my Facebook time line with a few notes that I publish every Friday. The one thing I always have in mind is why not publish on my blog. My reason has always been I get more readers on Facebook than here. And that’s how sensesNhumor got neglected quite sad. I then realized that this blog was started for a purpose and that purpose ought to be fulfilled and that is why we are back again.

A few things I have been working on is on personal development, getting to improve a few things about myself, my work, being more proactive in my kitchen skills, trying to work on a few new things. Currently I am working on a new project and if this picks, then this will be the greatest of all accomplishments. I am starting my pop up brunch business. Working on making brunch on Sundays for people who would wish to have a full meal on mid Sunday. I have always admired brunch set ups, working with a graze table, setting up a good spread for brunch. In these covid times, this is what I have solely been thinking about and I felt like it is time to execute. I am also working on my kitchen crafts the brand I have for making home made condiments and spices. On top of this, working on my bakery as well. Clearly I have been busy and hence the neglect.

Why am I revealing all this? I feel like it’s good to encourage someone out there that is wondering what to do with themselves or wondering where to start on something out, just start it. There’s never a right time maybe a right mood and right attitude to make you start.

Spending time with my family, taking each day at a time, is also what is keeping me sane at this time, enjoying a good laughter watching the children grow every single day has also been a blessing. This also keeps me in check in ensuring that I get to fulfill a few things knowing very well that I have people to look up to.

Things I am looking forward to work on is ensuring that we eat healthy, work on exercises maybe by brisk walking or search for my skipping rope, to see if I can work on my health as well. I have never had to work out, but of late I have been getting the urge to, not for anything but to shed a few pounds, make me lighter and reduce the pain I have been experiencing on my legs. The doctor advised me to work on my weight to minimize the pain. So yes that is why this is in the pipeline.

Above all I am thankful for the good health amidst all life’s challenges. And that’s what keeps us going. Happy to be back, and happy to post yet again.
